Digital Linear Enocder is 'On the Ball'

Spherosyn™ Digital encoders are compatible with the majority of DRO’s and controls in current use, either directly using TTL differential quadrature output signal or the hybrid version which gives a 1Vpp or 11µApp analogue output. Repeatability on the Spherosyn™ Digital encoders is always within one
resolution count.

The Spherosyn™ Digital’s self-aligning fixing brackets allow virtually effortless scale mounting, with a single drill hole required for each set of brackets. The design of the Spherosyn™ Digital also allows alignment in almost any position; unlike glass-scale encoders that usually have to be installed with the lip seal facing downwards to prevent contamination.

With the exception of a dial indicator, used to align the reader head, installing the Spherosyn™Digital requires no need for additional electronic devices; while its self-contained design also removes the need for additional electronic connections.
