RS232 serial communication is typically
used to interface with PC "COM" ports. This EIA standard allows
for data transmission from one transmitter to one receiver at data
rates up to 20K bits/second and distances up to 15m at the maximum

RS485 |
This EIA standard meets the requirement
of a multi-point communication network, which as standard specifies
up to 32 drivers and 32 receivers on a single two-wire bus. A key
feature is the ability to address individual devices. This model

SSI
|
SSI (Synchronous Serial Interface)
is a patented absolute encoder protocol. A clock signal is provided by the control and facilitates transfer of absolute position on the data lines. There are several variations of SSI currently available. |

Quick and Easy Installation
The design of these linear encoders allow installment
in almost any position, unlike glass-scale linear encoders, which usually
need to be installed with the lip seal facing downwards to prevent
contamination. Self-aligning fixing brackets allow virtually effortless
scale mounting, needing only a single hole for each set of brackets.
