SHG-PV Linear Encoder              

The SHG-PV provides a differential quadrature output at 5-28V levels. It provides flexibility by offering two different built-in input-output capabilities.

Vin > Vout: The quadrature output is equivalent to the input DC voltage. SHG-PV will accept 5-28VDC input.

Examples: If the encoder is supplied with 5VDC, the output will be 5v quadrature. If the encoder is supplied with 24VDC, the output will be 24V quadrature. 

5-28Vin > 5V quad out: In this configuration, SHG-PV is supplied with 5-28VDC. The output will be 5V quadrature. This provides flexibility for the encoder power supply, as the encoder can be powered from 5V or 24V power supplies. 

Both of these capabilities are available in all SHG-PV encoders.

Quick and Easy Installation
The design of these linear encoders allow installment in almost any position, unlike glass-scale linear encoders, which usually need to be installed with the lip seal facing downwards to prevent contamination. Self-aligning fixing brackets allow virtually effortless scale mounting, needing only a single hole for each set of brackets.
